A La Mode Hot Cocktail With Bourbon Apple Cider Heavy Cream Brown Sugar And Licor 43

The only thing this A La Mode cocktail is missing is apple pie. But don’t worry, it’s topped with a little whipped cream and cinnamon sugar to satisfy that craving. It’s a rich combination of fresh apple cider, bourbon and Licor 43 (a citrus- and vanilla-tinged Spanish liqueur). A La Mode is New York bartender Karin Stanley of Dutch Kills spicy, creamy ode to apple pie a la mode, and it is as close as it gets. Serve it on a cold night after dinner to cozy up with in front of the fire.
