Named after the New York City borough, a variation of the already popular Manhattan and Bronx at the time in the 1920’s. While the Brooklyn calls for the hard to find Amer Picon, a french bitter orange liqueur, it is often substituted with the Italian liqueur Amaro CioCiaro.
