Cotillion Cocktail With Bourbon Orange Liqueur Orange Juice Lemon Juice And Aged Dark Rum

Created in the storied walls of one of the world’s most prestigious nightclubs, the Stork Club in Manhattan, New York. The Cotillion is a potent concoction of bourbon, triple sec, orange juice, lemon juice, and aged rum. It was first documented in Lucius Beebe’s 1946 “The Stork Club Bar Book.” This post-Prohibition bourbon cocktail was served to the many movie stars, aristocrats, and celebrities that made up the Stork Club’s VIP clientele.

Ingredients

.5 oz BOURBON
.5 oz ORANGE LIQUEUR, Preferably triple sec
.5 oz ORANGE JUICE
.5 oz LEMON JUICE, Freshly squeezed
.25 oz AGED RUM, or dark rum
