Created in the storied walls of one of the world’s most prestigious nightclubs, the Stork Club in Manhattan, New York. The Cotillion is a potent concoction of bourbon, triple sec, orange juice, lemon juice, and aged rum. It was first documented in Lucius Beebe’s 1946 “The Stork Club Bar Book.” This post-Prohibition bourbon cocktail was served to the many movie stars, aristocrats, and celebrities that made up the Stork Club’s VIP clientele.
