The Dark and Stormy is a simply made, three-ingredient cocktail that is a registered trademark of Gosling Brothers since 1991. Similar to the vodka-based Moscow Mule, this drink mixes dark rum instead with lime juice, and ginger beer. Its flavor is sweet and citrus, we recommend if you’re looking for something more spirit forward to substitute a portion of the ginger beer with club soda.
Ingredients
2 oz
DARK RUM
1 oz
LIME JUICE, Fresh is best
4 oz
GINGER BEER, Sub half for club soda for a less sweet drink
Directions
1. Add rum and lime juice to a highball glass
2. Add ice and top with ginger beer (and club soda if desired)
3. Garnish with lime wheel
