Commonly referred to as a G and T, this simply made cocktail typically pours the gin and tonic to the taste of the drinker. However, the ratio of 1:1 and 1:3 are the most popular ways the cocktail is served. It is suggested in order to preserve the effervescence of the tonic water to be poured down a bar spoon. This method is also suggested to fully incorporate the two ingredients. Garnish with a lime wedge if desired.

Directions
1. Add gin to a highball glass and fill with ice
2. Fill the glass with tonic water or pour as desired
3. Garnish with a lime wedge
