The Golden Dream lived its hey day in the 1960’s and 70’s. Made popular by Raimundo Alvarez at the Old King Bar in Miami and was dedicated to Joan Crawford. The flavor is described best as an adult Creamsicle. It is sweet, citrus, and frothy and is considered an after dinner drink. For a more spirit forward drink simply use less cream and increase the portions of Galliano and orange liqueur.
Looking for more ways to use that bottle of Galliano? Give the Yellow Bird or Barracuda a try.
