Irish Blonde Cocktail With Irish Whiskey Orange Liqueur Sherry And Bitters

If you’re looking for a delicious, elegant drink to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, look no further than the Irish Blonde! The drink comes from Dale DeGroff, AKA King Cocktail, who’s responsible for drinks like the Smoky Martini and the Ritz Cocktail. This libation has all the qualities of a classic cocktail: great flavor, a luxurious mouthfeel, and an incredible finish.

The Irish Blonde combines Irish whiskey with orange liqueur and sherry for a rich drink that’s perfect for any time of year. It begins with a base of blended Irish whiskey, then adds orange Curaçao for sweetness and body, as well as fino sherry for brightness and a bone-dry finish. The cocktail is finished off with a spritz of caramelized oils from flamed orange peel over the top—the combination of sweet and dry makes this one unforgettable drink!
