This Italian-inspired cocktail was created by Seattle bartender Jamie Boudreau. The Italian Buck follows the classic “buck” or “mule” format, which uses ginger ale or ginger beer. In this case Boudreau mixes dry ginger beer, Cynar, an Italian artichoke amaro, with Bolognese Amaro Montenegro, fresh lime juice and bitters for a zesty, bittersweet low proof cocktail that can be enjoyed year round.
