The Last Word is a gin-based cocktail dates back to pre-Prohibition days and first served at the Detroit Athletic Club on their 1916 menu. Composed of gin, green Chartreuse, lime juice, and maraschino liqueur. This equal parts sour cocktail has gone on to inspire modern classics like the Paper Plane and the Naked and Famous.
