Padang Swizzle With Single Malt Scotch Lime Juice Sherry Dark Rum Grapefruit Juice And Cinnamon Syrup Tropical Cocktail

This Rum Swizzle riff is an international melting pot of a cocktail. The Padang Swizzle blends Scottish, Spanish, Sumatran, and Caribbean elements. Zac Overman of Fort Defiance in Brooklyn, New York, named it for the capital of West Sumatra, Indonesia. It blends smokey Scotch, dry Spanish Amontillado sherry with dark rum, lime and grapefruit juices and cinnamon; standard tropical ingredients. All these elements create a tropical cocktail that is a complex mixture of citrus, smokey-spiced flavors.

Ingredients

1.5 oz SHERRY, Amontillado
.5 oz DARK RUM
.25 oz SINGLE MALT SCOTCH
.75 oz LIME JUICE, Freshly squeezed
.5 oz GRAPEFRUIT JUICE
.75 oz CINNAMON SYRUP
