The Scorpion Bowl is a large-batch communally shared punch. Traditionally served in a tropical-themed ceramic bowl by the same name. While its origins are unknown the contemporary version that we know today is Trader Vic’s 1946 recipe. Trader Vic’s is also responsible for other classics like the Mai Tai and Bloody Mary.
Its lethal “scorpion” potency is masked by the sweetness from the orgeat syrup and citrus juices. The bowl is typically shared by 2 or more people.
