White Lady Gin Orange Liqueur Lemon Juice Egg White Shaken Cocktail

This is another classic cocktail invented by Harry MacElhorn of Harry’s New York Bar in Paris, France. The White Lady is a sister cocktail to the Sidecar, replacing brandy for gin. Variations of it include the addition of an egg white, sugar, cream, or creme-de-menthe. It is also known as the Delilah or Chelsea Side-car. As a result of the craft cocktail renaissance modern variations have emerged such as the tequila-based White Dragon which swaps out gin for the agave spirit.
