This Frozen Negroni is the ideal refreshment for a sunny day. Created by beverage director and general manager at New York’s Sweetwater Social, Matt Friedlander takes some creative licence with the traditional equal-parts Negroni. He swaps bitter Campari for the more citrusy Aperol, punches up the gin, mixes with sweet vermouth, and rounds the flavors off with grapefruit bitters and a pinch of salt. Blend these together with ice and you’ve got something very different but reminiscent of the classic Negroni.
