The Lemon Drop Martini flavor can be described as a combination of lemony, sweet, and sour. Created sometime in the 1970s by Norman Jay Hobday, the founder of Henry’s Africa bar in San Francisco, California. It is most closely related to the gin-based White Lady and is essentially the vodka version of the richer cognac-based Sidecar.
