Miami Vice Cocktail

Miami Vice Cocktail With Rum Strawberries Lime Juice Simple Syrup Cream Of Coconut Pineapple Juice Served Frozen

The Miami Vice cocktail is a blend of Strawberry Daiquiri and Piña Colada drinks originated before the popular ’80s television drama. The cocktail may not be as familiar to people today, but its name and appearance evoke a classic Miami vibe.

Since its inception, the Miami Vice has typically been seen at two kinds of establishments: nightclubs and beach bars. Even though the heyday of boozy frozen drinks has waned, tropical drinks continue to be popular among beachgoers and resort-goers—a refreshing reminder that you’re on vacation.

To make, you will need to create two separate cocktails for the Miami Vice. For the Strawberry Daiquiri, you’ll need rum, lime juice, simple syrup and fresh strawberries (all blended together with crushed ice). Then, you’ll mix Piña Colada—rum with cream of coconut and pineapple juice until smooth.

The layered effect creates a striking visual, and the drinker gets to control how much of each flavor they want. Sip from the bottom for a Daiquiri experience, or start at the top for an island-inspired treat. Mix them together, and enjoy both flavors in one glass!
