21St Century Cocktail With Reposado Tequila Creme De Cacao Absinthe And Lemon Juice

Jim Meehan, the mastermind behind the revolutionary 21st Century cocktail, took inspiration from the timeless Twentieth Century classic, which traditionally features gin. Crafted in 2007 during Meehan’s illustrious time at the renowned Pegu Club in Manhattan, this exceptional recipe originally incorporated anise due to the then-illegal absinthe in the US. While modern adaptations have embraced an absinthe rinse, both variations lend themselves flawlessly to this extraordinary libation.

Ingredients

.25 oz ABSINTHE, For rinse
2 oz REPOSADO TEQUILA
.75 oz CRÈME DE CACAO
