Aperol Spritz Bitter Italian Amaro Sparkling Champagne Prosecco Soda Water Orange Iced Cocktail

A classic Italian aperitivo, the Aperol Spritz, was born in Venice in 1920. The spritz is an Italian sparkling wine-based cocktail with the Italian bitters liqueur, Aperol. The Campari Spritz is a common variation and simply uses Campari instead, however, the flavors between the bitter liqueurs are considerably different.

This spritz is a great pre-meal drink to open the appetite, along with these other classic aperitivi, the Americano, Negroni Sbagliato, and the Bicicletta.
