The Golden Phone, a modern twist on the 21st Century cocktail developed by Jim Meehan, incorporates tequila, Lillet blanc, and crème de cacao with the addition of half an ounce of yellow Chartreuse. Crafted by Michael Fifelski at The Harvey House in Madison, WI, this unique libation showcases the exquisite balance of herbal flavors. Try the Golden Phone for an unforgettable and sophisticated drink experience.
Our recipe is a more spirit-forward adaptation of the original recipe, we’ve bumped up the tequila portion from 1 ounce to 2. It is essential to use white crème de cacao to preserve the golden color however, dark crème de cacao will achieve a similar flavor if necessary.
